2014 Paraduxx Atlas Peak Napa Valley Red Wine
Sold Out
Our Vineyard Series is a collection of limited-produced wines that offer their own inspired variations on the contemporary and innovative style of our Paraduxx red blends. This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel and Sangiovese comes from the high slopes of Atlas Peak, where temperatures can be up to 10 degrees cooler than the valley floor. This ensures long, even ripening, yielding an elegantly textured wine with expressive layers of cherry, lavender and forest floor.

Winemaker Notes
This gorgeous blend of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese offers aromas of ripe cherry and strawberry, as well as hints of violet and earthy forest floor. On the palate, it is beautifully full-bodied with firm, age-worthy tannins that reflect its cool-climate origins, while perfectly framing flavors of black cherry, bay leaf and oaky spice.
Production
The 2014 growing season was our third exceptional vintage in a row, and one of our earliest harvests on record, with our final grapes arriving at the winery on October 14 - almost two weeks earlier than normal. Though the vintage presented drought conditions, perfectly timed spring rains were just what the vines needed to set an excellent crop. After an early budbreak, ideal summer weather allowed us to harvest all of our varieties at optimum ripeness, resulting in wines with alluring aromatics and beautiful fruit complexity.
