2015 Paraduxx Atlas Peak Napa Valley Red Wine
Sold Out
Our Vineyard Series is a collection of limited-produced wines that offer their own inspired variations on the contemporary and innovative style of our Paraduxx red blends. This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese comes from the high slopes of Atlas Peak, where temperatures can be up to 10 degrees cooler than the valley floor. This ensures long, even ripening, yielding an elegantly textured wine with expressive layers of cherry, lavender and forest floor.

Winemaker Notes
A high-altitude Napa Valley twist on the acclaimed Super Tuscan wines of Italy, this riveting blend begins with a complex nose of strawberry, red brick, leather and sweet tobacco leaf. On the palate, firm, layered tannins add nuance and depth to flavors of juicy cranberry and wild strawberry, with an underlying note of earthy forest floor imparting an Old World feel to the finish.

Production
Other than being approximately a month earlier than usual, our 2015 harvest was smooth and successful, yielding exceptional quality grapes. To allow us ample opportunities for blending, we harvested 16 different grape varieties over the course of 12 weeks. During this period, Mother Nature provided heat to speed up ripening when we needed it, and equally well-timed cooler temperatures when the vines needed a respite. The extended harvest allowed us to pick all varieties at optimal ripeness. As a result, our white grapes show lovely aromatics and varietal character, and our reds show beautiful depth and concentration.

Wonderful wine! It has a great flavor that pairs great with a the oak wood grilled steak we accompanied it with. Definitely a bottle you can feel good about enjoying yourself or giving as a gift. It has a fantastic flavor profile, bold hints of cranberry & is wonderfully aromatic. You also can definitely get the oak flavors as well! I definitely recommend this wine. Its a new staple in our home. I completed this review in exchange for compensation and free product, but all views are my own.

If you’re looking for a wine that will leave your guests completely and utterly impressed, get a bottle of this red. I’m no expert, but a glass of this left me and my loved ones oh so satisfied. Expect earthy, fruity flavors that will enhance any and every meal. Try it with roast lamb, beef or other hearty dishes like coq au vin for a delish meal that will impress. It’s the perfect vino for the holidays so get a bottle or five to enjoy all month long. I completed this review in exchange for compensation and free product, but all views are my own.”
